Shelby
County Animal Shelter Receives Training
Tuition
Grant
SHELBYVILLE,KY. Shelby County Judge Executive Rob
Rothenburger announced that the Shelby County Animal Shelter
has been chosen to receive a grant for up to $500 for the
reimbursement of tuition for training courses for the animal
control staff.
“The
educational grants will be utilized to continue to enhance
officer’s knowledge of the care and control of animals,”
states Rothenburger.
The
Shelby County Animal Shelter personnel strive to give the
animals throughout the county the absolute best care
possible. The staff attends various animal care related
training sessions throughout the year in order to better
serve the community and its animals.
