Judge-Executive Rob Rothenburger Appoints Dick Miller to the Shelby County Fire Protection District Board of Trustees

 

SHELBYVILLE, Ky. – Shelby County Judge-Executive Rob Rothenburger announced the re-appointment of Dick Duvall Miller to the Shelby County Suburban Fire Protection District Board of Trustee’s, following approval from the Shelby County Fiscal Court at the Tuesday, May 6, 2008 fiscal court meeting.

 

This will be Miller’s second term on the board.  He was appointed in 2007 as a trustee to fill the vacancy upon the death of the late commissioner Mike Hatchett.  Miller proceeded to deliver a commendable job on the board and has rightfully earned his re-appointment and the support of the board’s trustees.

 

Shelby County Judge-Executive Rob Rothenburger states, “Dick stepped in at a very difficult time for the Shelby County Suburban Fire Protection District, his personality and relationship with firefighters was a tremendous asset in filling the void left by the untimely death of Chairman Mike Hatchett.  I have great faith that Dick will continue the rich honored tradition that was established by Mike Hatchett and former commissioners of the board of trustees.”  

 

Miller’s new term will begin on 06/28/2008 and commence until 06/25/11.
